Happy New Year to everyone!

With the New year now upon us we now have a new Chairperson. After 3 and a half years as Bransgore Youth FCs Chairman, I have decided to step down. Whilst I have enjoyed the voluntary role I feel it the right time to step down. My current U15s will soon be coming to a natural end of their youth career with only the remainder of this season and the following season to go, and having been Chairman for 3.5 years, I feel it is now a the right time and let someone else take over and move the club even further forward.

Finding the right person willing to do this voluntary role with the desire and pro-activeness that this club deserves is, as I’m sure you can imagine quite a hard thing to come across. However we are very fortunate enough to have the ideal person taking over as our club Chairperson. Debbie Boultwood joined our club approx 18 months ago as a parent to her oldest son who joined our u6s team at the time. She quickly got herself involved in the committee and was our Vice Chairperson last season. Since joining Debbie has been a very proactive member of the committee and has kindly offered to take over as Chairman from myself with immediate effect, of which I know she will do a fantastic job of moving this club forward….and with her children still very young she will no doubt be around for a number of years yet! Im sure everyone will join me in wishing Debbie good luck!

Finally thanks for everyone that has supported me in my role as Chairman over the years – but more importantly thank you for all supporting Bransgore Youth FC – which Im sure you will agree with me is a fantastic youth football club!!!
